Sabrina had her 10 year old Birthday party Costa Rica style- 3pm to 9pm on the beach, then followed up by an overnight. Yes, there was a pinata, and it broke on the first swing, and the kids swarmed it, and just like in the USA no one got a bloody head. There was a BBQ with burgers & hot dogs, but it seems that lighter fluid is very hard to come by, so why not use bug spray to fire things up-and at only $20 a bottle it's a bargain.
We are just a little more careful these days
Yep, we finally moved to a new house. Very weird - same house flipped, then turned 90 degrees. Everthing is the same but not. Yard is not quite as nice, but it's got a pool, and we can see the ocean and have a sunset.
No trip is complete without a stroll thru the Home Depot of Costa Rica. We are looking for a BBQ for the new house. Walner said the owners would buy one and we found one for 132,755 Colones or about $265. Tools were about double the price of Home Depot. Paint about $40 a gallon, but I got a Vivatar tripod that would have been about 50 bucks in the states for $6?? I'll post some pictures of the inside on the photos page. Bought some drywall screws because, you know, you can always use drywall screws.
Four girls line up on the stucco wall jetting out of the pool. 2 on one side 2 on the other, then jump, form a circle and land in the water. Oh, nobody got hurt? Sure lets do it again and film it in Slow Mo this time. A bullet dodged - Check out the video in video clips.
