MaxiPali is owned by Walmart and just opened in Santa Cruz. Not really seeing those US Walmart prices. Inflation in Costa Rica and devalued Dollar against the Colones has made most items expensive. Lots of newspaper articles about the worry this is having on Costa Rica's tourist biz.
